Torquay's most experienced player Chris Hargreaves is "raring to go" as the Gulls prepare for Saturday's League Two opener with Chesterfield.
Heading into his 20th season - Hargreaves made his league debut for Grimsby Town in December 1989 - the 37-year-old midfielder is still as enthusiastic as ever ahead of the game at Plainmoor for the newly-promoted side.
He said: "I'm raring to go. The season's just around the corner and everyone is talking about it.
"There's a real buzz about the place now we are back in the Football League.
"My expectations won't change. They have been the same every season. You aim to make progress."
