Brentford midfielder Marcus Bean is confident he can earn a new contract at Griffin Park once he regains his starting spot.
The former QPR and Blackpool midfielder, out of contract in the summer, missed the start of the campaign through injury.
The 24-year-old has yet to start a league game for the Bees this season, with Kevin O'Connor and David Hunt keeping him out of the side.
Bean told the Ealing Gazette: "It's frustrating not playing, but these things happen in football. I've just got to keep my head down and hopefully I'll get my chance.
"We haven't really discussed anything about a new contract. As long as can get back doing the business on the pitch, then hopefully the club will be forthcoming with an offer."
