West Brom manager Roberto Di Matteo has warned no one Championship team has the necessary strength to pull clear - and expects the battle for promotion to go down to the last games of the season.
The second-placed Baggies are two points behind Newcastle after 15 matches and are preparing to face a Leicester side who are up to fourth after a three-match winning run.
With just a point separating the protagonists at the Walkers Stadium tomorrow, Di Matteo is expecting a committed performance from two evenly-matched teams.
"You hope to pull away, but I don't think any team will do that," the Italian told West Brom's official website.
"It's so balanced and narrow that it will probably go down to the last few or couple of games. Nobody has the strength to pull away.
"There are so many good teams in this division, as you see every weekend with the results. It shows how difficult it is to get three points and how balanced it is."
While the two sides' routes into the Championship were contrasting - West Brom by relegation, the Foxes via promotion - Di Matteo knows more than most about the qualities of Leicester's squad.
He was manager of MK Dons last season and spent much of the campaign locked in a fierce battle for promotion with the Foxes, and has warned his players to be on their guard against Nigel Pearson's men.
"I knew them from before. But they've added some experience; they are solid and a good side," said Di Matteo.
