Swansea striker Kerry Morgan has joined Newport County on a three-month loan deal.

The 20-year-old, who made his senior Swansea debut in the Carling Cup win over Brighton in August, has made five appearances for Paulo Sousa's side this season.

But, with a permanent route to the first team blocked by the presence of Craig Beattie, Lee Trundle, Gorka Pintado, Stephen Dobbie and Besian Idrizaj, Morgan has opted to gain experience in the Blue Square South division.

He will make his debut for County in Saturday's game with St Albans.
