Swansea boss Paulo Sousa has a host of injury concerns to deal with as he prepares to welcome former club QPR to the Liberty Stadium.

Influential midfielder Ferrie Bodde has returned to his native Holland for an operation after suffering a recurrence of his cruciate ligament injury against Sheffield United last week.

Leon Britton is rated doubtful due to a toe injury, while Cedric van der Gun and Andrea Orlandi (both thigh) also face late tests ahead of the game.

Nathan Dyer and Jordi Lopez both return to the fray after serving one-match bans for their dismissals against the Blades last weekend.

Joe Allen (hamstring), Fede Bessone (groin), Albert Serran (ankle) and Guillem Bauza (knee) are all long-term absentees.

Sousa, who was sacked by the Loftus Road outfit after just five months in charge, has had a mixed start to life at Swansea as they currently sit 16th in the table with just two wins from their opening 10 games.

QPR will check on Fitz Hall and Matt Connolly ahead of the meeting with former boss Paulo Sousa.

Hall has missed the last five games with a groin strain but has resumed training and should be available while fellow defender Connolly has been struck down with glandular fever.

Boss Jim Magilton has named the same starting line-up in successive games and been rewarded with a 5-2 win over Barnsley and a 1-1 draw at Newcastle so he is unlikely to make many changes.

Winger Lee Cook is beginning light running as he continues his recovery from knee surgery in May.

Veteran midfielder Gareth Ainsworth (hamstring) and young striker Angelo Balanta (groin) are also still on the sidelines.
