Southend goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan has warned his former club Southampton to expect no favours when the two sides meet at St Mary's on Sunday.
Flahavan started his career with Saints but failed to make the breakthrough and moved on to non-league Woking before heading to Roots Hall seven years ago.
The Shrimpers have already been relegated, but Flahavan claims Saints can still expect a tough game as they attempt to seal a place in the play-offs ahead of Stoke.
"It will be nice to go back. It will be the first time I've played at St Mary's and there will be a full house so I'm looking forward to it and I desperately want to do well," said Flahavan.
"I can't afford to do Saints any favours but I do hope they make it into the play-offs and back to the Premiership.
"I'm torn because I'm a Southampton lad but I have to do my best for my team. Ideally we'll get a result but Stoke will slip up."
