Ipswich boss Roy Keane's luck showed no signs of turning after watching his side throw away a 3-1 lead at Bramall Lane.

An injury-time leveller from Chris Morgan completed a plucky fightback by the Blades, who looked like heading towards a first home defeat of the season.

It was harsh on the visitors, who battled back from Darius Henderson's ninth-minute opener to lead 2-1 at the break courtesy of goals from Jonathan Walters and Grant Leadbitter.

Gareth McAuley looked to have wrapped up the Suffolk side's first win of the campaign with 20 minutes to go but Henderson struck again seven minutes later before Morgan's late heroics.

After just seven minutes a much-needed win for the Tractor Boys looked unlikely as the home side, marking their 120th birthday, got the celebrations off to the perfect start as they were handed an early goal.

It was in part due to some poor defending and lenient refereeing as Henderson headed home the ball into an empty net after out-muscling the Ipswich stopper Richard Wright to the ball.

Ipswich fought back with a surprise equaliser after 24 minutes when a cleared throw-in found its way back to Carlos Edwards on the right flank.

He easily beat the lunging Stephen Quinn to put in a low cross and a clever little backheel from the on-running Walters found the far corner with on-loan keeper Mark Bunn helpless.

The visitors got their second just 10 minutes later and Bunn was again at fault as Leadbitter played a one-two to create some space 25 yards out and hit a seemingly harmless shot which crept past the Blades' goalkeeper as if in slow motion.

A seemingly decisive third goal arrived after 67 minutes as a Leadbitter corner was met firmly by McCauley, who headed into the top of the net.

But the home side pushed for a way back into the game and managed it as Henderson netted his second after some good work at the by-line by Glen Little with 15 minutes to go.

And after concerted pressure the dramatic equaliser finally came two minutes into stoppage time as a corner from the left was eventually met by the skipper Morgan, who forced the ball home to deny Keane and his Ipswich side the win.
