Sheffield United could be set to join the race to secure the signature of Plymouth Argyle winger Peter Halmosi.

Halmosi has caught the eye of Premier League side Hull City, with manager Phil Brown confirming his interest in signing the player.

However, Blades boss Kevin Blackwell has expressed his keenness to land Halmosi, who is reportedly valued at around £3million by The Pilgrims, as he looks to bolster his creative options ahead of next season.

"He is a good player and as such I am always interested in good players," Blackwell told the club's official website.

"In that regard, then, he would be in a list of good players I would be interested in."
