QPR boss Iain Dowie feels Lee Cook is finally getting back to the form which persuaded Fulham to splash £2.5million on him last summer.
Cook is now back with Rangers, his boyhood club, on loan after a frustrating injury-hit spell at Craven Cottage during which he did not make a single appearance.
The 26-year-old now looks to have put his injury problems behind him and has played 10 times for Rangers already this season, the latest appearance an impressive performance as Dowie's side went down narrowly at Birmingham.
"I thought he was terrific - he was our best player in the first half," said Dowie.
"In the second half he did not get the ball quite so much but he was terrific."
