New Millwall director Trevor Keyse believes the club's work in the summer holds the key to their form next season.

The south London club - who are still without a manager - will attempt to make an immediate return to the Championship next term after relegation in the recently-concluded campaign.

Keyse told the club's official website: "This is a vital few months for us.

"We will have to make the right decisions and put the right things in place, which will give Millwall a real chance of being successful next season."
