Leicester have confirmed that Edgar Davids will not be joining the club.

The former Holland international has been in talks with the Foxes over the last few weeks but it has now been confirmed that the midfielder will not be playing his football at the Walkers Stadium.

Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric said: "Unfortunately we were not able to come to an agreement with Edgar and his representatives. We have decided not to take this matter further and wish Edgar luck in his future career."
