Leeds striker Ian Moore has been told he will not be part of Whites manager Dennis Wise's plans next season.
Wise told the current players at a meeting after the last-day defeat at Derby which of them would help form a new-look squad in League One next season.
Former Burnley striker Moore is "devastated" not to be able to help Leeds bounce straight back to the Championship after being told his contract will not be renewed when it expires this summer.
Moore, son of Tranmere manager Ronnie, arrived at Elland Road in March 2005 for a £50,000 fee, but spent most of his first season under former manager Kevin Blackwell on the substitutes' bench.
But the 30-year-old has featured more prominently this season, scoring five goals from 15 starts and making a further 22 appearances off the bench.
Fellow striker David Healy is expected to be one of several more players heading out of Elland Road this week in the wake of relegation.
