Swansea returned to winning ways to ease past in-form Doncaster at the Liberty Stadium and further enhance their claims for a Coca-Cola Championship play-off finish.
The flamboyant Swans, who lost 2-0 at Watford in midweek, were at their flowing best against a Doncaster side who have won their last three league matches and bagged the spoils thanks to goals from Jason Scotland and Jordi Gomez (two).
It did not look too promising for the hosts early on however as James Coppinger, who was later stretchered off with concussion, netted from close range to stun the home faithful.
However, the hosts were level midway through the first half when Scotland side-footed a penalty into the corner after Alan Tate was fouled in the area.
And the turnaround was complete 30 minutes from time as Gomez slid the ball home from close range before Richie Wellens was sent off for Doncaster after two yellow cards.
Gomez then added the gloss to the scoreline by firing into the top corner from just outside the penalty area to compound Rovers' misery.
The hosts were first to threaten in the sixth minute through Gomez, who lifted a shot over the bar from the edge of the area.
Swansea were showing just why they are among the favourites for a play-off finish with some flowing football, but they were hit by a sucker punch after 11 minutes as Coppinger fired the visitors in front in slightly fortunate circumstances.
Coppinger slotted into the net via a deflection after Paul Heffernan had done his best to miss a golden opportunity when clean through on goal.
Heffernan only managed to toe-poke the ball straight at Dorus De Vries when he found himself one on one with the Swans stopper. Fortunately Coppinger was on hand to mop up and make no mistake with the rebound.
The goal, however, only seemed to spur the hosts on even more and they were deservedly on level terms in the 28th minute when Scotland netted from the spot.
The in-form frontman sent Doncaster goalkeeper Neil Sullivan the wrong way after James O'Connor had upended Swans skipper Tate in the area.
The first half ended on a sour note as Coppinger was stretchered off with a serious looking injury after a challenge with Albert Serran, causing an eight-minute delay.
Doncaster, though, put the blow behind them and started the second half with much more intent and Sam Hird will feel he could have done better with a header from close range.
At the other end, Scotland was continuing to cause the Rovers defenders all sorts of problems and he was unlucky not to find the back of the net with a stinging shot which was parried by Sullivan.
The veteran stopper was again called into action moments later when he brilliantly tipped a Mark Gower shot round the post as Doncaster continued to ride their luck.
The reprieve did not last long however as the hosts finally got the goal their play deserved through Gomez.
The midfielder, who was a doubt before kick-off with a hamstring injury, slotted the ball home from close range via a deflection after good build-up play from Scotland and substitute Guillem Bauza.
Doncaster were dealt a further blow as Wellens was sent off in the 85th minute for two bookable fouls.
And Gomez then doubled his tally for the afternoon with a fantastic shot from 18 yards after more good play from Scotland.
