Crystal Palace goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan and defender Lee Hills have joined Oldham on one-month loan deals to get first-team football.

Both players will go straight into the Latics squad to face Leeds United this weekend after Palace gave them permission to play in the FA Cup.

Goalkeeper Flahavan, 30, is behind Julian Speroni in the pecking order at Selhurst Park and young left-back Hills, 19, is being kept out of the first team by Clint Hill.

"This move is beneficial for both parties," said Eagles boss Neil Warnock.
