New Crewe signing Julien Baudet is confident he can help Dario Gradi in his side's quest to return to the Championship next season.
The Frenchman, who signed a three-year-deal with the Railwaymen from Notts County this week, believes the club's aim for promotion will be a good challenge.
"I'm delighted, relieved and happy to join a club like Crewe. After talking with Dario he says the aim is to try go straight back up, so it will be a good challenge," he said.
"Hopefully, we can maybe get it right in the first year because my long-term aim is to play in the Championship.
"I've joined Crewe because they are renowned for playing good, passing football and I can't wait to pull on the Crewe shirt and do my best for the club."
