Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is "delighted" after on-loan Plymouth defender Marcel Seip extended his stay at Bloomfield Road.
The 27-year-old will now remain with the Seasiders until December 29, although Argyle have inserted a 24-hour recall clause into the deal.
Holloway told the official website: "I am delighted. Marcel has come in and done very, very well for us, he has fitted in well to our dressing room and I am sure he is enjoying playing regular first-team football."
Seip has scored two goals in four games since joining Blackpool after being transfer-listed by Plymouth following a fall-out with manager Paul Sturrock.
