Gareth Roberts will return to Doncaster's squad for the home clash with Blackpool.
Rovers left-back Roberts has been sidelined with a calf strain, but is ready to give manager Sean O'Driscoll a selection dilemma after James Chambers has stepped in for the last two matches.
Right-back James O'Connor sustained a thigh injury in last weekend's defeat at Newcastle and missed training earlier in the week, but is expected to be ok.
O'Driscoll is still without skipper Brian Stock (knee) and central defenders Adam Lockwood (foot) and Byron Webster (elbow), so Sam Hird will resume alongside on-loan Jason Shackell at the heart of defence.
Sean McDaid and Steve Brooker (both knee) are still on their way back from long-term injuries, but Webster could soon be ready to return to training after dislocating his elbow in the draw at Sheffield United last month.
Blackpool will be without midfielders Charlie Adam and Ishmel Demontagnac for the trip.
Both players are suspended with Adam serving a one-match ban after picking up five yellow cards and Demontagnac banned for three matches having been sent off during a reserve match.
However, boss Ian Holloway could decide to call upon Daniel Nardiello. The forward has returned to training after a long-term hip injury and he could be set for a place on the bench.
Neal Eardley is another injury concern. He picked up a knee injury in the draw with Swansea last week and is rated at 50/50 to be involved this weekend.
Blackpool have performed well at home but away from home they have struggled and Holloway is considering a change in tactics for the trip to South Yorkshire, meaning a move away from their attacking 4-3-3 formation.
"We have got to sort ourselves out. Our away form has to improve," he told The Gazette. "I'd like a few wins, that would really keep us up there."
