Blackpool's on-loan Plymouth defender Marcel Seip has been given permission to play against his parent club when Argyle visit Bloomfield Road.

Seip joined the Seasiders on a one-month loan at the end of September, after being placed on the transfer list by Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock.

He has yet to feature for Blackpool but played for the reserves against Preston in midweek and will come into contention to make his senior debut.

Midfielder Ishmel Demontagnac also played for the reserves following a hamstring injury and, although he was sent off for violent conduct, his three-match ban does not yet come into play and he could feature.

Defender Ian Evatt is edging closer to full fitness after a hamstring strain but Danny Coid (tibia), and strikers Daniel Nardiello (hip), Gary Taylor-Fletcher (ankle ligaments) and Stephen McPhee (knee) all look set to remain sidelined.

Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock will be forced to make a change to his winning line-up for the trip.

Sturrock has maintained the same starting XI for the 2-1 wins over Scunthorpe, at home last time out, and Peterborough away.

But on-loan Manchester United central defender James Chester (knee) is ruled out for the long-term and has returned to his parent club for treatment, meaning Sturrock will be forced to alter his plans.

With Chris Barker and Reda Johnson both ruled out by calf injuries and Icelandic international Kari Arnason (hamstring) sidelined, Sturrock is set to recall Hungarian international Krisztian Timar to partner on-loan Aston Villa central defender Shane Lowry.

Blackpool's on-loan Plymouth Argyle centre half Marcel Seip has been given permission to play against his parent club.
