Consistently inconsistent, Ronnie Baxter remains one of the most frustrating players on the circuit to watch.

Twice a runner-up at the rival BDO World Championship at the Lakeside, Baxter stepped up to the PDC ranks in 2002 but has yet to make the same impact.

The Rocket remains without a major title to his name and went 18 months between tour victories before winning the Windy City Open in September. In between times, he reached the quarter-finals of the US Open.

He has twice reached the semis of the World Matchplay, while he was also runner-up at the Desert Classic in 2002.
