Paul Nicholson (16)
With Peter Manley having slipped down the rankings in recent years, the boisterous PDC crowd needed a player they can love to hate - and in Paul Nicholson they have just the man.
Taking to the oche, completely unnecessarily, in shades and firing imaginary guns into the crowd, 'The Asset' has become something of a pantomime villain, and a verbal spat with fans' favourite Phil Taylor certainly didn't helped matters.
Having won 15 titles on the Australian Grand Prix circuit in 2008, he qualified for the Grand Slam and caused an upset in his first appearance as he saw off Gary Anderson.

Victories over Adrian Lewis and Dennis Priestley followed at the 2009 World Championship and after climbing into the top 50 on the PDC Order of Merit the Geordie-born Australian took little time to make the full-time switch to the PDC.
His real breakthrough came in the 2010 Players' Championship with victories over Lewis, Taylor and Mervyn King winning him his first PDC title - and a major at that, with a £60,000 first prize.
He underlined his talent by reaching three major televised quarter-finals in 2011 - results which saw him climb to ninth in the world rankings - but has struggled to make the same impact this year.
