The tall and powerful left-hander combined hard-hitting aggression with heavy scoring consistency to be the leading batsman in successive Busta Series in 2000 and 2001.
A very effective striker of the ball but has some technical flaws, mainly his lack of foot movement early in his innings.
If he gets off to a good start he could fulfil the potential he has long promised during the tournament.
His occasional off-spin is also handy.
