CRICKET WORLD CUP ENGLAND
Picture Collingwood has a big future.

PAUL COLLINGWOOD

Born: 26.05.76
One-day internationals: 33
Batting: Right Hand (Avge: 30.70)
Bowling: Right Hand Off Breaks (Avge: 43.33)
Catches: 14

Has found his feet in international cricket and kicked on with his recent hundred in England's VB Series victory over Sri Lanka.

Previously he was often unlucky enough to be batting low down the order on days when those at the top did the business.

The all-rounder may be disappointed to be pigeon-holed as a one-day player when his talent - certainly with the bat - possibly warrants more, but the World Cup gives him an opportunity to impress.

Definitely one for the future and could have a big part to play in this tournament.
