CRICKET WORLD CUP SOUTH AFRICA
Picture Hall - was shot at four years ago. (Allsport)

One-day internationals: 26
Batting: Right Hand (Avge: 21.75)
Bowling: Right Hand Fast Medium (Avge: 43.37)

Has more reason than most to celebrate a spot in South Africa's World Cup squad.

Four years ago he was shot at six times during a mugging at a cashpoint in Johannesburg, one of the bullets lodging in his hand.

But he battled back to represent his country in both Test and one-day matches.

An all-rounder, Hall made his one-day international debut against the West Indies in 1999 before making his Test bow against Australia in 2002.
