A controversial character whose career has been punctuated by bans and fines, Gibbs has certainly taken the rough with the smooth - although there is little doubting his ability at the top of the order.
Scorer of more than 3,500 one-day international runs, Gibbs recently became only the third player to hit three consecutive ODI centuries.
He made an unbeaten 97 in the fourth match.
