The South Australia captain was Player of the Year in Australia's domestic one-day tournament, the ING Cup, to show his liking for the shorter game.
Has he also recently broken back into the Test side as well as being one of Ricky Ponting's first choices for the one-dayers.
His tight left-arm slow bowling is proving very handy in one-day cricket.
The brilliant strokemaker was the mainstay of Yorkshire's first County Championship win for over 30 years in 2001.
Injuries ruined his Ashes series and he'll hope to get back into top form in the World Cup.
He will miss the Aussies' first match of the tournament, though, as he completes a five-match ban for racist comments made during a VB Series clash against Sri Lanka.
