Like a number of the Holland squad, Edgar Schiferli gained valuable experience playing in two ODI matches in the ICC Champions Trophy in Colombo.
Probably unlucky to miss out on Holland's 1996 World Cup squad, Schiferli opened the bowling in those two ODI's but with little success.
But he is likely to steam in with the new ball once again, and at present is probably Holland's quickest bowler.
