A batsman who has yet to play an ICC Trophy game or ODI match for Holland, Nick Statham has been included in the World Cup on the back of scoring big runs for his club side Hermes DVS.
The 27-year-old will start as an outside for a place in Holland's XI, but could force his way into the side if any of his rivals suffer injuries or a loss of form.
However the experience should still benefit him greatly and he could be a player to watch out for in the future.
