Another player yet to represent Canada in a ICC Trophy game, Abdool Samad is a talented all-rounder who hails from Guyana.
Although he can bowl both medium-pace and off-spin, Samad is also a handy wicketkeeper and could take the gloves if anything happens to first-choice Ashish Bagai.
Unlikely to play any part in the World Cup, but the event should prove great experience for the 23-year-old, who is the brother of team-mate Fazil.
