Nicholas Ifill, another of the Canadian team to be born in the West Indies, is an all-rounder who has struggled in his two previous ICC Trophy matches.
He scored just two runs and took just one wicket in those two games, so a huge improvement will be needed if he is to have any impact on the World Cup.
But the 34-year-old is rated highly in Canada and his tidy medium pace bowling is sure to get an outing.
