Probably the quickest of the Zimbabwe bowlers behind Henry Olonga, Travis Friend is also a top-order batsman with two half-centuries to his name in both Test and one day-international cricket.
Although he has taken 36 wickets in the shorter form of the game his economy rate is currently high at 5.46 runs per over.
But Friend is one of a number of players Zimbabwe selected as all-rounders in their World Cup squad, and he could well find the big stage to his liking.
