A 22-year-old batsman, Dion Ebrahim made his one-day international debut for Zimbabwe in Harare against Bangladesh, but wasn't required to bat as his side won easily.
Since then he has gone on to play in both the Test and one-day international sides without ever taking the next step up.
However he did pick up the Man of the Series award in Bangladesh in 2001/02 thanks to scores of six not out, 121 – his first one-day international century - and 84.
