The first of the new Caribbean World Cup venues to open its doors last May, Warner Park has already hosted a Test and one-day international against India.
A capacity of 8,000 may seem small, but it represents a hefty percentage of St Kitts' population of 35,000. In any case, an additional 2,000 temporary seats will be added for the World Cup games. Due to the island's small size, many fans expected to stay on Nevis, a 35-minute ferry ride away.
The eastern side of the ground has been left deliberately free of stands to allow fans and players alike to feel the benefit of the cooling prevailing winds.
