Two points for a win, one for no result. A super over will be used to decide tied matches.
The top two teams in each first-round group qualify for second league phase. The group result against their fellow qualifier will be carried through, while their fixtures in round two are pre-determined - not decided by whether they finish first or second in the first-round group.
In the second league phase the top two in each league will progress to the semi-finals, where the winner of the first league will play the runners-up in the second and vice versa.
If teams finish on equal points they will be separated by most wins; then highest net run rate; then higher number of wickets taken per balls bowled in the group or league in question; then drawing of lots.
