Derbyshire duo extend stay
Derbyshire have been handed a boost after agreeing two-year contract extensions with key bowling duo Mark Footitt and Tony Palladino.
Left-arm pace bowler Footitt is the second-leading wicket-taker in English first-class cricket this summer and has taken 54 wickets in 13 matches for the Division Two side.
Palladino, who has taken 33 first-class wickets and added 258 runs with the bat, has also extended his stay at the County Ground till at least 2016.
Elite performance director Graeme Welch said: "We're delighted that both Mark and Tony have committed themselves to Derbyshire for the foreseeable future.
"The pair are both senior bowlers and will be integral parts of our bowling unit as we continue to build a winning squad for 2015 and beyond."
