Nottinghamshire's latest financial figures show a small pre-tax profit of £19,652 for the year ending September 30 2012, following a year of investment at Trent Bridge and a reduction in the club's debt.

The club have cut almost £1million off their net debt while adding new features to their ground to ensure it remains a regular host of international cricket, with a new replay board due to be completed in time for two England matches - including an Ashes Test - there this year.
"Historically we have a strong track record of profitability but we now face significant challenges and we must continue to raise income to meet increased international match staging fees, invest in the playing squad and continue to enhance our venue," said chairman Peter Wright.
"Support for our international matches remains strong and we are grateful to our members and loyal supporters who continue to support cricket at Trent Bridge."
