South African batsman David Miller looks likely to return to Yorkshire next season.

David Miller: Hoping to play for Yorkshire next season

Miller was a huge hit for the Tykes in the Friends Provident t20 competition, helping the county to finals day for the first time, scoring 72 off 46 balls in the final defeat against Hampshire and 47 off 35 in the semi-final against Sussex.

Miller admits he would love to play in the County Championship too, although Yorkshire coach Martyn Moxon has hinted that they will do without an overseas player in four-day cricket in 2013.

"My excitement to go back to Yorkshire is all there," he said.

"Over the next couple of weeks we'll look to finalise that. We have had a few conversations between Yorkshire and myself. Hopefully I do come back.

"I would love to be available for everything, but that's up to them to decide whether that's possible. At this stage of my career, I just want to play as much cricket as I can. If I can play all formats for Yorkshire, I would enjoy that.

"Getting back to South Africa, sitting down and thinking about what actually took place (on finals day) makes it very, very special. I really want to remember that moment for the rest of my life."
