Defending champions England booked their place in the Super Six at the Women's World Cup with a six-wicket victory over West Indies in their final Group A fixture.

  • Anya Shrubsole: England seamer finished with a career-best haul
  • Heather Knight: saw England home with 18 not out

Seam bowler Anya Shrubsole claimed a career-best 4-21 as West Indies were bowled out for 101 in 36.4 overs after opting to bat first at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

Shrubsole and new-ball partner Katherine Brunt (2-10) reduced West Indies to 31-6 in the 15th over before Kyshona Knight (33) and Shanel Daley (30no) forged a seventh-wicket stand of 58.

Medium pacer Arran Brindle had Knight stumped and cleaned up the tail for figures of 3-0 from two overs.

Opener Danielle Wyatt led England's run chase with 40 and, despite a three-wicket burst from seamer Deandra Dottin (3-20), Heather Knight (18no) saw them across the winning line with 15 overs to spare.
