Persistent drizzle prevented any play on the final day and left Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire having to settle for a draw in their LV= County Championship match at Trent Bridge.

With the home side needing just 211 to win, not having started their second innings, an intriguing finish was in prospect but the conditions failed to improve and play was eventually called off at around 3.15pm.
Nottinghamshire were clearly the more frustrated of the two sides, desperate for a third championship win of the season which would have moved them further away from the bottom two.
The draw leaves Notts in sixth spot, having taken 10 points from the game. They are now seven points ahead of Derbyshire, with a game in hand, eight clear of the relegation zone and 24 behind Warwickshire, who remain fifth having taken eight points from the match.
Notts have the welcome distraction of their Yorkshire Bank 40 semi-final against Somerset to play on Monday before closing out their Division One programme with away trips to Middlesex and Durham, before again facing Somerset in a home championship match.
Warwickshire, badly hit by injuries and international call-ups going into this contest, have a free week in which they will hope for one or two players to regain full fitness, before facing Surrey at home and Derbyshire away in their closing two encounters.
