Scotland recorded their first win in the Friends Provident Trophy with a nine-wicket thrashing of Kent in a rain-affected match at Citylets Grange.
Persistent rain delayed the start of play and brought the Kent innings to a premature end with the County side struggling at 65 for four from 19.5 overs.
After a three-hour delay, Scotland were left needing 77 from 18 overs and opener Fraser Watts saw them home on the Duckworth-Lewis method with an aggressive 45 from 38 balls.
The Saltires won the toss and elected to bowl under heavy clouds, despite missing Craig Wright and Gordon Drummond through injury.
Sean Weeraratna opened the bowling in Wright's absence and made an immediate impact, scattering Joe Denly's stumps with his fifth ball.
Robert Key had two let-offs in Weeraratna's next over, the Kent captain caught at square leg off a no ball and then clean bowled with the resulting free hit.
Key survived, but never looked comfortable and managed just 14 before chopping Jan Stander onto his stumps.
Weeraratna then induced a chip from Martin van Jaarsveld which offered a simple catch to Gavin Hamilton at mid-on.
And when Kent wicketkeeper Geraint Jones was stumped off the bowling of Majid Haq, Scotland were dreaming of their first home win since 2006.
They were forced to dream a little longer when rain brought Kent's innings to a close in the 20th over.
When the covers came off three hours later, Scotland set about flaying the Kent bowling, treating the match like the Twenty20 spectacle it had become.
With the rain closing in again, Watts in particular was in a hurry.
He smashed 21 from one Simon Cook over - including two flat sixes down the ground - and by the time he was caught by James Hockley trying to slap another ball over the fence, the match was all but won.
After Watts departed, Hamilton and Ryan Watson ticked off easy singles and Scotland cruised home with 19 balls to spare.
Hamilton finished with 18 from 32, and Watson with 15 from 19.
Kent can still make the quarter-finals if they beat Warwickshire on Wednesday, while Scotland will be hoping to build on this win when they host group leaders Somerset in their final match.
