England's Pinky Le Grelle held her nerve in a four-way shoot-out to claim a bronze medal in controversial fashion in the women's skeet at the Commonwealth Games.
The 53-year-old had been leading the competition after qualifying with a total of 69 but in the final saw her lead slip, setting up a dramatic four-way shoot-out.
Firing first in the initial shoot-out, Le Grelle looked to have blown her podium chances as she missed both her targets.
Cypriot Andri Eleftheriou held her nerve, hitting both targets as the 21-year-old claimed a shock gold, with Australia's Lauryn Mark claiming the silver after missing one of her shots.
The English team appealed the decision, claiming there had been problems with Le Grelle's targets, but the verdict was upheld.
This meant Australia's Natalia Rahman, who also missed twice, went into a bronze-medal showdown with Le Grelle.
The English girl showed nerves of steel, hitting both her targets, while Rahman missed once, handing Le Grelle the bronze.
"I really enjoyed it out there today even though it was really tense," said Le Grelle. "I'm pleased to be going home with a medal even though it's not the colour I hoped for.
"This is great because I am getting to the end of my career. I may carry on for a couple more years but this will be my last Commonwealth Games."
Wales' John Croydon finished fourth in the 50m rifle three positions, with England's Chris Hector fifth.
