England won a bronze medal in the men's basketball by beating Nigeria 80-57.
In a match that was delayed 40 minutes while a faulty shot clock was removed from above one of the baskets, England took control in the second period and never looked back.
Robert Reed led England with 16 points while Mike Martin weighed in with 13 for the victors.England captain Ronnie Baker said: "It's been great working with these guys and it feels great to take a medal home.
"The guys stuck together through the highs and lows and showed that if we stayed together, we could achieve. That's what we did here tonight."Veteran forward John Amaechi added: "I think this is the first game we've played where we pulled all the facets of our game together.
"I was confident we could win if things went right, but this margin required smart, hard basketball, so I'm really pleased.
"London won the 2012 Olympic bid on legacy and the impact on communities.
"There are few sports that have a greater impact on communities than basketball."
Australia took gold, beating New Zealand 81-76 in the final.
