| History Circuit De Nevers is a typical modern racetrack. It was opened to grand prix in 1991 following a massive upgrading of the old club racing circuit. The then French President Mitterand took a keen interest in the project, as it took riches into a largely rural environment. Facilities are excellent and the actual circuit is a mix of slow corners and tight hairpins. Take the chance to call in at the Ligier F1 museum and see 16 cars together with various other team memorabilia and photographs. Also the Motor Sports Museum opened in the Autumn of last year with its first major display - depicting Renault's Centenary of Motor Racing. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
