Paraguay goalkeeper Jose Luis Chilavert returns against Spain on Friday and his team-mates hope he can celebrate wth one of his trademark free -kicks.

A suspension for spitting at Brazil's Roberto Carlos in qualification meant Chilavert missed Paraguay's opener against South Africa and his dominating influence was sorely missed as Paraguay let a 2-0 lead slip away in the last half-hour.

Now the outspoken keeper, who has scored an incredible eight times for his country, is back in action and has already promised to score two more against the high-flying Spaniards - something team-mate Denis Caniza would love to see.

"I hope Chilavert can score a free-kick past Iker Casillas, it would be fantastic," said Caniza, who expects Spain to qualify from Group B.

"At the moment they have the advantage of having won their first game," he admitted. "It would be very positive for us if we didn't lose, but we'll do all we can to try and win, anyone can cause an upset surprise."
