• The top three clubs will be promoted, subject to their grounds being suitable.
• Two associate member clubs will be elected to play in the division in the 2000-2001 season.
• Teams finishing level on points are separated by goal difference.
• If goal difference is identical then the team scoring most goals finishes higher.
• In the event of goal difference and goals scored being identical a play-off may be held if necessary.
