Teams receive three points for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a defeat.
The bottom four teams will be automatically relegated.
If two teams finish level on points and a championship/relegation issue has to be settled, the two teams will play off to see which team finishes higher.
If teams finish level on points and there is no championship/relegation issue to be resolved, the team finishing highest will be the team with the best record in matches between them.
If teams still cannot be separated the team finishing highest will be the one with the best goal difference.
