# Tamworth deducted three points
Teams receive three points for a win, one point for a draw and no
points for a defeat.
If two teams finish level on points, the team finishing higher will
be the one with the best goal difference. If the teams are still level
the team with the most goals scored will finish higher. If the two teams
are still level and a promotion/relegation place is at stake they will
play off on a neutral ground.
The team finishing top will automatically be promoted to the Football League
(subject to meeting Football League stadium criteria).
The teams finishing in second to fifth places will play off to decide the second promoted team.
The bottom teams, up to a maximum of three, will be considered to
be in a relegation position. The number of clubs eventually relegated
will depend on the number of clubs eligible for promotion to the
Conference or wishing to be promoted to the Conference.
