Olympic bronze medallist Tony Jeffries continued the unbeaten start to his professional career with a points victory over Nathan King in their super-middleweight fight at the Coventry Skydome.
Jeffries, who sparred with Carl Froch in the build-up to the bout, claimed a 59-56 triumph over six rounds to register his sixth win since his Beijing success.
After an explosive start to the first round, the Sunderland-born right hander soon settled into a rhythm.
A flurry of blows followed midway through the second and although he was not having all his own way, 'the Mighty Mackem' was enjoying the upper hand as matters wore on.
King, who also lost on points to Olympic gold medallist James DeGale back in December, was showing his mettle and landed a huge right in the fifth. But it was Jeffries who had done enough to win it.
