Freddie Roach is confident Miguel Cotto won't make it to the final bell when he faces Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas on November 14.
Cotto puts his WBO welterweight title on the line when he meets the Filipino superstar at the MGM Grand.
And Roach, currently preparing the Pacman for his latest superfight, believes his man will get the job done inside schedule.
Cotto suffered a severe beating when suffering his only pro defeat against Antonio Margarito, and cut badly last time out in his points win over Joshua Clottey.
Roach told Boxing News: "Cotto won't last, that's for sure. I don't know if he'll go as quickly as Hatton, but Manny will knock him out or stop him because of cuts.
"Cotto's a bleeder and Manny will take advantage of that. He won't last the distance. I'm 100 per cent sure Cotto isn't going 12 rounds with Manny."
Despite Roach exuding confidence, he does admit that Cotto provides Pacquiao with one of the toughest tests of his career so far.
"First of all, he's bigger than Manny. He's not one-dimensional like Hatton. He's naturally left-handed but fights right-handed. He switch-hits. His strong hand is the left.
"Against Manny he'll likely go southpaw. He'll try to confuse Manny by also going orthodox. He's a clever guy and makes good adjustments during a fight. That makes him dangerous."
