Lennox Lewis says David Haye won't find it easy to reign in the heavyweight division.
Haye meets the giant 7ft 2in 'Beast From The East' Nikolai Valuev in Germany on November 7 for the WBA title.
And he's already promised that he'll knock out his opponent in a match that lives up perfectly to the 'David and Goliath' analogy.
But Lewis, who reigned as undisputed heavyweight champion for Britain, isn't so sure.
He told Boxing News: "If he uses his speed he can dance around Valuev. I actually thought Holyfield beat him (Valuev) and he's going to have trouble catching up to David.
"But if Valuev puts his weight on him, it's a lot to have to push off. David will be trying to hit these guys and knock them out, but these guys don't move easily."
The current heavyweight division is in desperate need of a new star to challenge the Eastern European domination.
Lewis says: "The rest of the world needs to rebuild and catch up. I look at it like this - a champion erupts like a volcano and we're waiting for the next eruption."
Haye may represent the next generation of British heavyeights, but the plight of some recent contenders was brought into stark focus by the news that Audley Harrison, Michael Sprott and Danny Williams are all taking part in Prizefighter.
Of the former, Lewis said: "There isn't always glory at the end and only a few fighters that won the Olympics went on to win a heavyweight championship.
"He had a lot going against him because he was a late starter, but being able to win the Olympic gold is a great accomplishment."
