Jon-Lewis Dickinson: Successful defence of his British title

Roared on by his fans, Dickinson dominated for long spells and won the fight 118-112, 117-112, 115-113 despite a gutsy display from Stafford.

"In the first six rounds I felt really strong, but after that my pectoral injury made it into a hard fight," said Dickinson.

"I felt comfortable enough in winning the fight and landing the shots but I couldn't work as hard as I wanted to."

On the undercard, Sunderland welterweight and Prizefighter champion Glenn Foot scored a seventh round knock-out against former European lightweight Champion Jason Cook.
